Your Route to Australian PR
The Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) is a permanent residency pathway for skilled professionals nominated by an Australian state or territory government. It’s a popular option for applicants whose occupation is in demand locally, or who may not score enough points for an independent skilled visa. Successful applicants can live and work permanently in Australia, access Medicare, study, sponsor eligible family members, and work towards citizenship, all from the date of visa grant.
At Sheen Migration, we manage the entire process for you, from assessing your eligibility and building the right nomination strategy, through skills assessment and Expression of Interest submission, to securing state nomination and lodging your final visa application. With workforce demand strong across many Australian industries, the Subclass 190 offers a genuine route to permanent residency for qualified professionals.
Eligibility Criteria
Your occupation must appear on the relevant skilled occupation list and meet the requirements set by the nominating state or territory.
An Australian state or territory government must nominate you, based on your occupation, skills, experience, and local demand.
A positive skills assessment from the relevant assessing authority is required to confirm your qualifications and experience.
At least 65 points are required, based on age, English ability, qualifications, and experience. Applicants generally need to be under 45 at the time of invitation.
Our 190 Visa Process
Before moving forward with a Subclass 190 application, we assess whether your skills, qualifications and circumstances align with the visa requirements and state nomination opportunities.
We also identify whether you need a skills assessment for your nominated occupation and help you prepare the required evidence before moving to the next stage.
Once your eligibility and points position have been assessed, we help you prepare your Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect.
An EOI is not a visa application and does not guarantee an invitation. States and territories assess candidates according to their own nomination criteria, current occupation priorities, workforce needs and the competitiveness of applications.
A Subclass 190 visa requires nomination from an Australian state or territory. If your profile is selected, you may be invited to apply for state or territory nomination.
Because every state and territory has its own requirements and occupation priorities, we help you understand the nomination pathway relevant to your profile and prepare your application accordingly.
Once you receive state or territory nomination and an invitation from the Department of Home Affairs, you can proceed with your Subclass 190 visa application.
The goal is to make sure your application is complete, accurate and properly supported before it is submitted.
